Handcrafted. Conscious. Contemporary. We want to make a difference, redefine handicraft, and serve society. Our goal is directed towards creating multi-functional designs, using ethical materials by employing the echoes of our culture, delivering a conscious lifestyle.
Our Women
Gulaabo represents the warmth, camaraderie, and support that the women of Gul share as they navigate their individual paths. We are a growing community of over 150 women who are dedicated to achieving financial independence and overall development. Gul’s primary goal is a world in which women from low and middle income backgrounds are empowered to use their learned skills as a medium to bring about tangible change in their lives.
Contemporising Indian Art
India has always been recognised as a centre of culture and intricate, handmade artistry. However, the awareness of these crafts is slowly dying. We have focused our efforts towards redefining Indian handicrafts by combining age-old techniques with new-age thinking to curate products that are ethnically rooted but newly chique.
Our Studio
At the heart of the pink city, lies Gul - an interactive, open studio for shopping and workshops. It is a reflection of what we create - contemporary products rooted in local artisanal forms.
